Chefair Flight Catering, Mumbai
Chefair Mumbai was commissioned in 1969 at the Santa Cruz domestic airport terminal and later relocated to the current premises near the Sahar International Airport terminal in 1986. It is strategically located adjacent to the international airport terminal and 4 kms from the domestic airport terminal, and about 10 minutes drive from the Western Express Highway which links Mumbai's suburbs to south Mumbai. The flight kitchen is located on land measuring 14,000 sqm and leased from the AAI. The total built up area of the facility is 6,466 sqm reflecting an FSI usage of 0.566 against a maximum permissible FSI of 1.5, subject to fulfillment of conditions of AAI.
Currently, Chefair Mumbai caters primarily to Air India. Air India has the largest presence in India amongst international airlines. Chefair Mumbai supplies in-flight meals to 150 Air-India flights per week, enjoying a 45% share of their in-flight meal requirement. The contract with Air India is for 3 years.
Chefair Mumbai has a capacity to produce 10,000 meals a day, although it currently operates at a capacity utilization of just 40% and supplies about 4000 meals a day. With adequate infrastructure the unit can meet the peak capacity of 10,000 meals a day.
CENTAUR LAKE VIEW HOTEL, SRINAGAR
Centaur Lake View Hotel, Srinagar (CLVH) is a 252 room 5-Star Hotel located in Srinagar in the State of Jammu & Kashmir on the famous and picturesque Dal Lake. The Hotel is a 10 minute drive from the city center, a 20 minute drive from the airport and adjacent to the Sher-e-Kashmir Convention Centre, which is owned and operated by the Jammu & Kashmir State Government. The Hotel is situated on a 17-acre plot of land (including 4 acres for staff housing) on a 99 year lease from the J&K Government.
